Great Tournament with a showcase feel. College Coaches have attended this event to recruit players every year.
This tournament is sanctioned VTD.
All Teams must be registered VTD and must enter their team into this tournament on the VTD website, www.fastpitchsoftball.net as well as entering on this site.
NOTE: Make sure to sign up using the 2016 Tournament link. VTD recognizes Sept 1,2015 thru August 31, 2016 as a registration season. That applies to tournaments and team registrations.
GPGSA (Grand Prairie Girls Softball Association) is the official host of this tournament.
While this is technically considered a tournament, over the years we typically see coaches from mostly the local D3, D2, JUCO, etc. There is no college coach sign up for this tournament but for over 10 years now this event has been successful getting the word out there. We typically can count on UT Arlington, Texas Wesleyan, Northwood, UT Tyler, University of Dallas, UT Dallas and other surrounding JUCOs.
Make sure your players are contacting more than just these colleges for the event. The key is the rapport they build with the college coaches through constant communications that is managed by the player. | | |
